The object is part of a series entitled Wellenfelder. It is composed of 2016 wire rods. The wires are made to resonate by progressions of pure tone of very low frequency. The tones are not audible, but are visible through the wires in the form of standing waves. Slight variation in the length of the wires causes them to resonate at different frequencies and makes the sound-motions visible through the wavefield: micropolyphony in motion. A transition in perception between movement and sound. This series of works is continued since 2010.
