• Fragment, Resonant Object 2013

metal foam, white noise, electronics | The piece is made of metal foam. By using an audio transducer, white noise is transfered onto the object. White noise covers the hole spectra of acoustically perceptable frequencies. The properties of the material form the acoustical phenomena of the sound. The white noise becomes colored. The piece creates a convolution as well as a fragmentation of space in visual and acoustical perspectives.
