Flaechen, Installation 2012

wire, light, sinus tones, electronics | honorary mention at prix ars electronica 2010. Five transparent curtains made of wire are turned into resonant bodies by a sequence of sinus tones. Shadow images of the objetcs are projected onto the walls of the exhibition space. Visual convolutions of the figuration become created, and extend the sculpture into the environment. Emerging from the resonation of wire, a slowly moving structure of objects, sound and light is created. The sounds are barely audible, but visible while moving along the wire. A transition in perception between movement and sound.
